The CQ Contest Hall of Fame was established in 1986 to recognize those amateurs who have made major contributions to the art of radio competition. Today, the Contest Hall of Fame is managed by the World Wide Radio Operators Foundation (WWROF), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the skills of amateur radio operators around the world.
